Sport in Charlie's life

Being a child Charlie was a very active child. When he was seven years old, he had trauma of his right leg. Our parents were concerned about his health and his future life activities. Charlie was taken into the hospital and stayed there for a month. In the hospital he got acquainted with a good guy Steve by name who was seriously engaged with hang gliding. Actually Steve was a student and attending lectures at university. This time he hurt his head while being on a skateboard and was put into hospital. He told lots of stories about this sport. His eyes were glowing when he remembered the sport events. Since there Charlie started dreaming about delta planes (hang gliders). Coming back home after hospital, he found out where such organizations existed. And he succeeded - Charlie rolled into a special school where future sportsmen were trained. The instructor was very strict and Charlie did his best. Mom and Dad were really against such kind of sport because it was dangerous to fly with gliders. However it was attracting and inviting - everyone wants to fly like a bird soaring over the glades and woods, towns and villages. Isn't it fun? Still Charlie was eight years old then. Thus, his new life began. But he never dreamt about Honolulu. Charlie had been training for eight years before his instructor took him along with in the air. They were to fly from the mountain that was not far from the camp. Charlie was excited very much. When they were in the air, he felt his heart throbbing. It seemed to him that he was out of breath. But it was terrific - freedom and fresh air around you - it was beyond words!
